New openings in Columbus to keep an eye out for.. Now that Columbus has been placed in the Top 10 most livable cities by CNN/Money Magazine, we are starting to see the expansion of trendy bars and restaurants pop up all over and there are no complaints! Below are just a few in the Short North Area that will definitely be worth checking out. — 1.Del Mar SoCal Kitchen by Carmeron Mitchell Located on the ground floor of the 711 N. High St. building. Inspired by Southern California cuisine, seafood is definitely the lean to, but the Del Mar Burger, potato bread, and fabulous desserts are a must try as well! *Photos of the Chocolate and Coconut on The Half Shall sweets are below.. but really, try them all! 2. Lincoln Social Rooftop Bar - Rooftop Lounge accessible via a direct elevator inside Del Mar. Since opening on April 30 th you have probably seen photos and videos of the incredible view of Columbus, skull ice cubes, and trendy floral wall.. and lets just say, this hot spot is nothing less than spectacular! 3. Bristol Republic- A Nashville Inspired Country Bar with Live Music & Southern BBQ! Just down from the hip spots Standard and Food Hall, Bristol Republic is bringing a modern, country feel to the Short North through live music (Thursday-Sunday), daily smoked BBQ, and over 100 rare Bourbon and Whiskeys from across the country. 4. I know many are wondering what is going in the previous RAM Restaurant & Brewery in the Short North..
